Flogging Molly

Flogging Molly é un verdadeiro grupo de taberna da cidade de Los Angeles, creado na taberna Molly Malones. A banda ten influencias de The Dubliners, e acada un son tipo The Poques. Nace no 1997 a partir de jam sesions na Molly Malones, onde chegaron a autoproducirse seu primeiro disco grabado diante do seu público: "Alive Behind the Green Door". Gracias a este traballo SideOneDummy Records escolleunos para que grabaran un segundo álbum: "Swagger".

No 2002, a banda lanza "Drunken Lullabies" (Nanas de borrachos) onde incluen un dos éxitos máis importantes da banda, o single autotitulado Drunken Lullabies. O álbum en sí tamén foi un grande éxito, entrando no 157 do Billboard estadounidense, e dous anon despois "Within a Mile of Home" que acada un espectacular 20º puesto no Billboard de 2004. En 2006, Flogging Molly lanza "Whiskey on a Sunday" e no 2008 "Float".
